Cede is expanding its footprint and looking for driven and results-oriented Growth Managers to drive growth across key regions. These roles are focused on acquiring new high-value clients, forging strategic partnerships, and driving the adoption of our product within the designated market. Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities to drive consistent pipeline growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key industry players, merchants, and potential partners to drive platform usage and integration.
  • Become the go-to expert, understanding local payment habits, regulatory nuances, and the competitive landscape.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from initial contact and pitch to final contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, Compliance, and Operations teams to communicate market needs, tailor solutions for local success, and ensure smooth client onboarding and KYB completion.
  • Represent the organisation at events and functions for networking and brand-building purposes.
  • Provide a deep understanding of strategies and business processes, to present ideas on how our products and services impact the livelihood of our target.
  • Maintain meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client data in the CRM system and report on sales performance metrics.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly transaction volume and revenue targets.
  • Actively prospect, visit, and onboard new B2B clients within your segment.

General Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Business Development or B2B sales, ideally within Fintech, Payments, or SaaS.
  • A bachelor's degree in any discipline is required.
  • Strong, verifiable track record of B2B sales/BD success in the financial sector.
  • Existing network of relevant business contacts in Nigeria.
  • Proactive with a successful track record of working in a team-based environment.
  • Independent and highly motivated, results-driven with an ongoing curiosity for growth.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
